Farewell to Vivienne

A special Evening Prayers service was held at St. Andrew’s on 7 August 2022 to mark the retirement of Vivienne Davies after 26 years as Churchwarden. Viv chose the hymns and readings. There was a large congregation of people from Oddington and the surrounding villages. The service was led by the Rev. Lisa Holmes, assisted by the Rector, the Rev. Steve Hayes.

After the service Viv was presented with a tray designed by Rosemary Morton-Jack, showing various photographs of the church taken by Nigel Lambert. She also received a bouquet of flowers and a John Lewis voucher. The service was led by the Rev. Lisa Holmes, assisted by the Rector, the Rev. Steve Hayes.
