Man’s body found in ditch on Otmoor

   On Monday last an inquest was taken at Horton, by Mr Cecil, coroner, on view of the body of Benjamin Blake, a pauper of Horton, aged 77, who had left his lodging house on the Thursday preceding with an intention of going to Murcott; and not returning, a search was made for him, and on Saturday afternoon he was found dead in a ditch on Otmoor. Verdict, found drowned, supposed from the inclemency of the weather.
