Death at Oddington Races
The Bicester Advertiser and Mid-Oxon Chronicle of 28th February 1929 reported that whilst watching the first race at the Oddington point-to-point meeting yesterday Mr Kerwood of Banbury Road, Oxford was excited by a close finish and dropped dead. His son Fred was to have ridden the favourite in the last race but did not do so.
