The repair of the church tower
The repair of the church tower is progressing well, with completion scheduled for 30 October. This has been a major, and costly project, involving pinning the walls and pumping grout into the void between the outer and inner walls.
It is great credit to the community that we were able to raise the funds in very difficult times. The church has stood for almost 900 years and hopefully our generation will have ensured that it will be here for another 900 years.
