The Rev. Adrian Burye was Rector of Oddington from 1549 to 1558. He was the fourth son of Edmund Burye, Lord of the Manor of Hampton Poyle. His mother was Jane Burye, daughter of John Pinchpole, Lord of the Manor of Windrush, Gloucestershire. Following the death of Edmund she married Thomas Lovett, of Astwell, Northamptonshire.

St Andrews church is open on Sundays from 10am to 4 pm for private prayer– of course there will be the prevailing restrictions
