The Big Bike Ride

Sunday saw the intrepid trio of Celia, Mark and Gerry setting off from Westminster Abbey.  Some 65 miles and several hours later everyone arrived safely at Islip.

Whilst the poor weather held off a stiff breeze added to the challenge.

Brilliantly organised by the Islip Team, route signing and marshalling meant everyone stayed on course.  A marvellous scene at Great Missenden church with local volunteers supplying tea and bacon rolls meant half way was a welcome sight for the riders.

We look set to have raised over £2,000 so a tremendous result for the Church Fund.  Our thanks to everyone who sponsored the riders.
