Good Friday at Oddington
A damp morning did not deter us from celebrating Good Friday at Oddington. People from Oddington, Charlton-on-Omoor, Fencoot and Murcott joined in for the All Age worship. The service was led by the Rector, Rev Canon Charles Masheder, assisted by Glenys Edwards.
On leaving the church we stopped at two locations in the village for hymns and readings, returning to the church to complete the service. The Easter Garden, created by Margaret Lambert and her granddaughters, was then completed by the children bringing in small pots of flowers.
Parents and children went to Church Cottage for drinks and hot cross buns, hosted by Celia Walde-Aldham. Other members of the congregation remained in church for meditation, led by the Rector.
