Good Friday was celebrated at Oddington on a sunny morning. The service was led by Glenys Edwards and Rev. Lisa Holmes, with a good attendance from people from neighbouring parishes.
The service was commenced at the church, before processing around the village. The ceremonial cross was carried by James Lewis. On returning to the church the Easter Garden, prepared by Margaret Lambert and Celia Warde-Aldham, was completed by the children bringing in pots of flowers.
At the end of the service the children and their parents were hosted at the home of Celia Warde-Aldham for activities, drinks and hot cross buns. The remainder of the congregation remained in the church for a short service of meditation.
