Nigel’s off again – the walk part 2.

The Camino Walk

On 5 July 2014 I will embark to Spain to walk another Camino. This time I hope to complete the rather more arduous route of the Camino Norte and Camino Primito. The starts at Irun, just over the border with France, and goes along the Atlantic coast before cutting in across the mountains to Santiago de Compostela. It is will be just me and my rucksack and I hope to complete the 520 miles in about 5 weeks. Thirty-odd sleepless nights in pilgrims’ hostels!

Many of you were extremely generous in sponsoring me on my previous camino and I do not expect you to match your previous donations. However, if you can give something it will go towards showing that we are again working as a community. For my part I will give presentations to various organisations on my return, which following my 2012 camino raised additional funds and publicised the restoration project.

If you feel able to make a contribution please drop it in to my home, where Margaret will be pleased to see you!
