A relic of the bell stocks

As part of the restoration of the bells by the Whitechapel Bell Foundry the ancient bell stocks were removed from the belfry. Michael Lambert, of Charlton-on-Otmoor, has used some of the wood to create bowls on his lathe. A sample has now been put into the church.
