On 13 August a tabletop sale was held in the churchyard at St Andrew’s. It was the first event of a series planned by a group of people drawn from the wider village community, the objective being to make more use of the church and at the same time raise funds for its upkeep. We were blessed with glorious sunshine and the event was well supported. Tea and cakes in the church was a particular success.
