In 2023 Dr Rebecca Ashfield, a resident of Oddington, approached Rev. Lisa Holmes to explore the possibility of donating a stained glass window to St Andrew’s. In consultation with the Churchwarden, Nigel Lambert, a suitable location was identified within the Lady Chapel. The only stipulation from Rebecca was that the artist should be Jude Tarrant of Sunrise Stained Glass Ltd, Southsea, whose work was known to her.
