In August 2024 major work was carried out to stabilise and repair the Church porch. The contractor was Adrian Daglish of Daglish Builders Ltd, of Swindon. The architect who drew up the specification and supervised the work was Andrew Townsend of Faringdon.
The overall cost of the project was in the region of £12,000, which was raised through fundraising by the parish and grants from the Oxford Historic Churches Trust and the Garfield Weston Foundation.
At present there are no priests in post in the Ray Valley Benefice. This has resulted in a reduction in services. There is one regular service at St Andrew’s,which is Holy Communion at 10.30a.m. on the 1st Sunday of each month.
St Andrews church is open on Sundays from 10am to 4 pm for private prayer– of course there will be the prevailing restrictions
