Our Harvest Festival was celebrated with Morning Prayers on 6 October, led by Rev. David Wipple. The church was adorned by splendid floral displays created by ladies from the village. At a time when deep floods are present on all the surrounding farmland we gave thanks that the gathering in of the harvest had been achieved. More pictures here…..
At present there are no priests in post in the Ray Valley Benefice. This has resulted in a reduction in services. There is one regular service at St Andrew’s,which is Holy Communion at 10.30a.m. on the 1st Sunday of each month.
St Andrews church is open on Sundays from 10am to 4 pm for private prayer– of course there will be the prevailing restrictions
