Within the tower of the Church of St Andrew, Oddington is a stained glass window, depicting the figure of St George. It is known as the Edwards window. It was commissioned in 1950 by Elliot and Evelyn Edwards in memory of their son Peter, who died during the Second World War. It has recently been repaired – the full story here….
At present there are no priests in post in the Ray Valley Benefice. This has resulted in a reduction in services. There is one regular service at St Andrew’s,which is Holy Communion at 10.30a.m. on the 1st Sunday of each month.
St Andrews church is open on Sundays from 10am to 4 pm for private prayer– of course there will be the prevailing restrictions
