The covid restrictions limited rather than prevented celebrations of VE Day 75 years ago. Beautiful weather, colourful bunting and a piper, brought the village together to remember those who had served and fallen during World War 2.
Service Times at St Andrew’s Church
At present there are no priests in post in the Ray Valley Benefice. This has resulted in a reduction in services. There is one regular service at St Andrew’s,which is Holy Communion at 10.30a.m. on the 1st Sunday of each month.
Church Opening
St Andrews church is open on Sundays from 10am to 4 pm for private prayer– of course there will be the prevailing restrictions

Now our government is planning a major new road that could threaten this unique environment.
